THE HANDS OF FEED OF JESUS

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

We have all been called by Jesus to carry out His work here on the earth, and we take this calling very seriously! Check out some of the events, trips and partnerships we are involved in:

OUTREACH EVENTS

EASTER EGG HUNT & SPRING CARNIVAL

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Carnival is one of the highlights of our outreach year. With thousands of folks from Lake, Ashtabula and Geauga counties joining us over the course of the day, we have been able to truly get to know some of the people of our community, and we love it!

OTHER EVENTS

From elementary school and middle school events to breakfasts with Santa to concerts to indoor yard sales and much more, we do what we can to jump on opportunities to reach out to our local community… keep your eyes peeled for some upcoming events!

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

madison food center

The Madison Food Center is operated entirely by volunteers from area churches and the community at large. Funding comes from area churches, community residents, organizations and businesses. As a church, we provide both financial resources and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or donate, please reach out to the Food Center at MADISONFOODCENTER.ORG

PROJECT HOPE FOR THE HOMELESS

We cook, deliver and serve meals to Lake County’s only homeless shelter in Painesville twice each month. If you’d like to get involved in this process, please reach out to Laura Pike at (440)417-4880.

hope shoppe

Each year at Christmastime we provide a free shopping experience for children affected by homelessness. The only thing worse than not getting a lot of gifts at Christmas is being the only one of your cousins without a gift for Grandma or the only one of your classmates without a gift for your teacher. We make sure that doesn’t happen! You can help us by purchasing gifts throughout the month of November for the kids to select from. For more information, contact Pastor Mark Winner at mark.winner@cfcmadison.org or (440)428-6868 x 305

MADISON CHRISTIAN MINISTERS

Many local churches partner together to support the Madison Food Center, the Madison Service Unit of the Salvation Army, a Free Food Program in the summertime for needy children, emergency assistance for local families who have needs and many, many other programs that help our community. Cornerstone plays a significant role in these programs!

MISSIONS

SUPPORT FOR MISSIONARIES

Through the Great Commission Budget of the Evangelical Friends Church - Eastern Region, our denomination, we support missionaries all over the world! We are occasionally blessed by a visit from one of our missionaries which is wonderful, but more than that, we get to be a part of what God is doing all over the world!

SHORT TERM TRIPS

Just about every year we take a group somewhere in the world to help. We’ve spent time in Alaska supporting some of our churches, Oklahoma and Texas cleaning up after storms, Jamaica to do work projects and children’s programs and Puerto Rico helping people rebuild after a hurricane. If you’d like to get involved in future trips, please contact our Missions Coordinator, Kathy Crites at nanacr54@yahoo.com.
